Pentax Scopes
Keep in mind that Pentax Rifle Scopes with higher magnification reduce the amount of available light. Scopes usually have a 1 inch diameter main tube, meaning they use 1" scope rings. There are different kinds of bases that you can use to connect the rings to your Pentax Scopes. You can tell what type of base you need by measuring the height of the rings you will use. Also, remember that the more you magnify your target, the less light you will get to your eyepiece. On the flip side, the larger the objective lens is, the more light gets through to your eyepiece.
When you mount your Pentax Scope, set it to its highest power, and in a position where your neck and head are comfortable. Your head should be positioned in the way that you will be mostly shoting, whether it is off of the ground or some type of rest.
